mod_rewrite / .htaccess fix for custom Wordpress template by propercursive

I have a custom Wordpress page template with a function that creates a new post from user file uploads. For some reason, enabling .htaccess mod_rewrite breaks this template. I need either a. custom .htaccess solution that does not interfere with the template function or b... (Budget: $30-$250 USD, Jobs: Apache, PHP, Wordpress)
