Add features to Wordpress NextGen Gallery Plug-in by talkingheads2

I have a picture gallery on a wordpress blog. The picture gallery uses the Nextgen Plug-in. I would like to add functionality to the Nextgen Plug-in to: 1) Allow users to click a Vote button to increment a vote counter if they like the picture (a given IP can only vote once)...
